Creating an Accessible Theatre Space

An inclusive theatre environment should be:

Predictable — keep important objects and areas in consistent places.
Safe — remove obstacles and clearly define spaces.
Sensory-friendly — use sounds, textures, verbal descriptions and tactile markers.

Example. Instead of: “Stand over there.”
Say: “Move three steps forward until you reach the textured mat.”
